Corinthia is a collection of luxury hotels founded by the Pisani family of Malta in 1962. All Corinthia hotels feature extensive leisure and business traveller facilities and are renowned for their unique characters. The portfolio includes the 230 bedroom Corinthia Hotel Khartoum in Sudan, which recently installed the protel PMS and xnPOS EPoS systems supplied by Xn protel.
The protel deployment was extensive, including Conference & Banqueting and Sales & Marketing modules, bespoke data exports for loyalty and CRM requirements and multiple interfaces to telephone, key card, CRS and accounts systems. The EPoS project included 14 terminals for all F&B areas, with an integrated stock module. The systems went live in February 2016.
“Our decision to contract with Xn protel was based on a number of factors”, stated Adrian Scerri, Director of MIS for Corinthia Hotels. “We needed a system and supplier that matched our incumbent in terms of suitability for a full service, luxury environment, but that would also provide the ongoing support and service required in one of our more distant locations”.
